Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle Yarn Full Review

Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle Yarn is available in 10 solid colorways. It is very similar to the other “sparkly” type scrubbing yarns that I have reviewed so far. It is a consistent skein, comes with plenty of yardage and is very durable. 

There was one weird thing that seriously must have been a bizarre mistake. I pulled from the center for this yarn and there was a tiny bit of yarn barf (I forgot to take a pic). Then knitting from the center was going great. About half way through the scrubby, the yarn suddenly switched from pulling from the center to pulling from the outside and I ended up having to remove the yarn label to continue knitting. 

I really like the look of the finished object. Even though it is quite similar to other yarns in this “sparkly” category, I do feel like the coverage looks better in this finished object.

Final thought on Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle Yarn

Overall I enjoyed knitting with this yarn and I do like the way the products look. However, I’m not a super huge fan of the “sparkly” scrubby yarn. While I have not yet tested any of them out, the sparkly fringe does seem weak. I guess time will tell.
