Herrschner’s Suds & Scrub Yarn: A Review
Herrschner’s Suds & Scrub Yarn is a 100% polyester scrubby yarn. The scrub fringe comes off a loopy core. The core yarn yarn reminds me of those finger loopy yarns, but on a much smaller scale. Herrschner’s is an American crafting/hobby brand, but the yarn is made in China. Their yarn is available through their website. Learn More.

Herrschner’s Suds & Scrub Dish Yarn Full Review
Herrschner’s Suds & Scrub Dish Yarn is available in 14 solids and 12 prints colorways. The core of this yarn look chained with little loops coming off, like the loopy finger yarn, but much smaller. The fringe is a bit see-through and seems flimsy, but it is wound tightly into the core.
Between the loops & the fringe the yarn actually doesn’t feel rough while knitting. But with increased pressure it definitely does feel scrubby. I love the coverage of this yarn. It really creates a scrubby without visible holes.
Finding the center pull was super easy. There was no yarn barf. And, if you can believe it, no tangles!! What!?!?
I absolutely love the finished product. It look so pretty! And I love the texture and the lack of holes. I had gotten so used to holes in the scrubbies I didn’t even realize it! Ha! I guess that’s just how it goes when you do a bunch of knitting with similar yarns.

Pros & Cons
PROS
- Super easy to knit with!
- Not abrasive at all
- No tangles!
CONS
- There really aren’t a lot of yards in this skein
- Not abrasive at all

Final thought on Herrschner’s Suds & Scrub Yarn
This was very easy to knit with yarn. It wasn’t abrasive to my fingers and it is different than any scrubby yarn I have knit with yet. The finished object is gorgeous and people keep trying to steal it away. That tells me, everyone love it!
