Yarn Bee Scrub-ology 2.0 Yarn Full Review

Yarn Bee Scrub-ology 2.0 Yarn  is available in 8 solid colorways. This is a tightly plied yarn with the fringe being a lighter texture than the core yarn. The fringe is a bit see-through and seems flimsy, but it is plied in very tightly to the core yarn. 

Maybe I’m getting used to knitting with scrubby yarn, or the scrubby yarn that uses a “see through” type of fringe is softer than the others. This yarn did not bother my fingers. 

Finding the center pull was super easy. All though I did get mixed up and began pulling from the outside. I did not have any yarn barf or tangling! Because I pulled from the outside of the yarn skein I ended up pulling off the label. 

The finished product is nice. I like the way the seed stitch looks in the scrubby yarn. The two sides are made up of a small i-cord.

Pros & Cons

PROS

  • Very strong yarn. 
  • Easy to knit with. 
  • Minimal to no tangles!

CONS

  • There really aren’t a lot of color options.

Final thought on Yarn Bee Scrub-ology Cotton Yarn

Overall this was very easy to knit with yarn. It’s on the lighter side so I do feel like my finished object has a lot of holes in it.
